VISA DEBIT CARDS - VISA CHECK GUARANTEE CARDS

Your VISA debit card and Check Guarantee card may be used to access your checking account 24 hours a day in four ways:

l. ATM withdrawals - You may access your checking and savings account balances at any ATM machine displaying the CO-OP, STAR or VISA logo using your personal identification number (PIN)

2. Point of Sale (POS) – You may use your debit card in lieu of a check at any merchant displaying the Star logo on their terminal. Swipe your card through the machine, input your PIN and the purchase is made. You can even get cash back at many terminals.

3. Deposits can be made at many ATM’s displaying the CO-OP logo.

4. You are still able to process your purchase as a credit transaction using your signature at any merchant displaying the VISA logo.

There are no fees for using your VISA debit or check Guarantee card. However, the credit union encourages you to seek out ATM machines with the no surcharge logo. Surcharges are assessed by the ATM owner not Laneco Federal Credit Union. Refer to our Links page for a listing of surcharge free ATM’s.

VISA check guarantee card comes with a $200.00 line of credit for overdraft protection.

REPORTING LOST OR STOLEN VISA DEBIT CARDS AND VISA CREDIT CARDS

If your Visa Debit Check card has been lost or stolen please call the credit union during normal business hours. If it is after normal hours, please call 1-800-682-6075.
