WHO CAN JOIN LANECO

Any person who works for Lane County is eligible for membership as well as the relatives of current credit union members. To see if you qualify, check out our field of membership list for a complete listing of who can join Laneco.

Laneco accomplished a merger with Champion International Federal Credit Union on September 30, 2000. This merger increased our membership base by another 1400 members. Champion was chartered December 1955 under the name of Plywood Workers Federal credit Union with an opening membership of 21. In September 1960 the name was changed to U.S. Plywood Federal Credit Union. Then in January 1977, the name was changed to Champion International Federal Credit Union, and it remained that way until becoming part of the Laneco family.

HOW TO JOIN:
Eligible individuals may join the Credit Union simply by completing a membership application and depositing a minimum of $25.00 in a share account.
